Break A Leg Chardonnay 2024

As the name suggests, Lukas had to undergo two major knee surgeries during our first harvest season, as indicated by the leg in a brace on the label and the silhouette of the man plotting his next move. With the help of great friends and family, it all came together in the end, and this wine is a celebration of the hard times that you must overcome and a reminder to never give up. In the same way one wishes a performer to “break a leg”, the name celebrates all the hard work we put into achieving our goals. Half the wine comes from a vineyard in Stellenbosch Kloof, contributing great richness and beautiful citrus notes. The other half comes from Devon Valley, providing a final blend of great weight and texture from its clay-rich granite soils.
