High Hopes 2025
R360.00
The 2025 vintage is the first one where we felt the gravitas of the Syrah was of such a nature that we didn’t need to add the Grenache portion we would have usually included. The product is a wine that is unapologetically Swartland, Shist and Whole-bunch. The grapes are planted on schist soils, and the vineyard carrying around 2,5 tons/Ha, which led to a wine that is deeply concentrated. The Syrah was 100% whole-bunch fermented and was aged in big 500-litre barrels. One punch down was done performed daily to ensure the grapes are treated as gently as possible.
